Its a real shame Samsung has zero support for this app as their speakers sound wonderful and are a fraction of the price of the Sonos. The choices for music streaming services, at least for Canadians are lacking. Spotify never worked properly, tune in radio is virtually useless to me, and deezer was okay until their free subscription run out, and then it would only play a 30 Second clip of the song. You can listen to deezer for free after the 30 day trial, just not through Samsungs app.
I spent an hour and a half with two different Samsung technical support people, they had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. They had me unplugging speakers, system updates, and really never understood their own product. Ive asked to talk to supervisor and then everything with him he admitted they had no training regarding the app and gave me another phone number to call. When I called that number that was supposed to be for the app support it was for Samsung televisions. I finally got an answer through deezsers technical support but it took a while.
I have returned my for Samsung wireless play speakers to Best Buy. If there is anybody from best buy or Samsung reading this I will give you my Canadian ticket number; #2140600152
I wasted two hours of my life on Samsung multiroom app. I have ordered $1200 worth of Sonos and wont look back. hopefully he can get their stuff together for the next customer.
