Wireless Audio - Multiroom App Reviews

Works fine until it decides not to. Dont know if its Apple updates or Samsung but I hate this app ( but then again I hate apple as well) and I own a lot if expensive Samsung appliances. Goes to pandora then suddenly it wants me to sign in which it will not do. Loses the speaker from room to room and for wifi thats crap. I expect it from Bluetooth. If u can find something else I would be happy because at the moment I have a near useless $150 speaker. Very disappointed in Samsung.

This is possibly the least intuitive app I have ever been forced to use. And, it only works on my tablet...not the iPhone 6. In a word, "Terrible."

I like app control panel but the one thing I do hate about it is that its not syncing with Pandora. The app keep on asking me to sign in, and when I do try log on, its telling me that I have an incorrect user name/ password!!! Please fix!!!

Very disappointed. Got this from Costco at a great price but the app constantly doesnt work and I have to reset my speakers. So disappointed with Samsung. Save your money and buy Sonos. Much better product.

Update released 5/20 beware. It will constantly lose connection to speakers. Never had issue before update.

After updating Samsung Multi Room app, I cannot access my music collection on my go flex external hard drive. The external hard drive is no longer listed as an option in the music source list. Also, others have complained about not being able to sign in to Pandora and I have been having that issue for a long while now. It is a great app if they could just fix everything and leave be! Getting tired of unpredictability.

With this version, it stops play randomly. While Im playing all songs on shuffle, Ill leave to run an errand and when I return, it isnt playing. Its happened a couple times today, the day after I updated the app. Please fix!! Update 5/2016 - elevated review to 3 stars. It continues to drop connection with my iPhone 5s, but continuous shuffle when I use my iPad Air. Please fix for iPhone connection!

Review Update: Down to one star for being unusable as a wi-fi set up. Even though I loved the idea of this system, the constant connectivity and control hassles made it unpredictable and unenjoyable. COSTCO price on R1 360 speakers was hard to pass up- and they did ok as a single speaker Bluetooth set up- but the cost of my time was too high for the house system I really bought them for. Returned. So sad, Samsung. Its the breakup I didnt want, but had to have. Now Im just waiting for the day 8tracks once again is compatible with Sonos to make my life complete. ******original review******* So Samsung, you develop the excellent 360 speakers, but use this ap? Who did you hire- The Obamacare website designers? This ap is sooooo not seamless. Sometimes I cant get it to respond at all and I am stuck listening to a crappy playlist on Pandora or 8tracks until it sorts itself out. There is a lot to love: I utterly adore the way my four R1 speakers can be linked however I want. The music sound quality is so good over wifi that I just lilt around from room to room in ecstasy. I also love that the speakers all connect to the modem/router and thats it. As I understand it, Sonos requires a cable hookup and subscription. As long as you have wi-fi you can have this amazing sound. I can answer the phone or listen to a Bluetooth book on a headset while the music plays through the house, and the speakers still even play even when the phone battery is dead and off! Its almost like the ap starts the speakers up and they continue with great performance on their own. I like that songs can be skipped and volume adjusted at the speaker itself as well as through the ap. Heres the rub: changes in content bring a stumble. For example, Ive found its easiest to do my searches in the 8tracks ap, and then let them feed to "history" in this multi room ap rather than searching through the multi room ap itself. It just throws the MR ap for a loop when you search with it, but that would be so convenient! Samsung, if you are going to keep a place in this wifi speaker market you must make this ap work faster and more smoothly in searching for and loading songs/playlists. It cant choke when I switch playlists or change streaming providers. Those confusing unresponsive times are just so frustrating. Im not playing off my phones music, and Im guessing most people arent either. Streaming! Make it happen smoothly and get a following for your amazing speakers!!

Since the most recent update, my speakers keep dropping, app doesnt pick them up, and music just randomly stops playing. I bought 5 speakers plus soundbar and I am starting to regret it. Samsung really needs to get this app working more seamlessly or reviews are going to kill this product.

Samsung fix your app!!! Speakers - amazing. App - terrible, drives me crazy and product (speakers) cut in and out and randomly "drop". Frustrating for such a top of the line product.

The speakers and app work well through the Bluetooth connections, but on Wifi, the app stops playing after a couple songs. Additionally, the random seems to repeat songs when you restart after the app randomly stops. Samsung, please fix so I dont need to exchange for Sonos!

Since I primarily use Amazon Prime Music, the Samsung app and wifi functionality are of no use. Sure hope Samsung will quickly update the app to support music streaming using Amazon Prime Music service.

Installation impossible

I have bought hw-h750 soundbar with two M3 speakers to make a 5.1 system, but i cannot make surround option in application on soundbar. Its a huge problem on 700€ soundsystem... I hope it will be fixed quickly

Improved services list, but for me there is no improvement visible. Cant change the order anymore, so for me its even worse. In the past every time the app was started the order was different, but I had the chance to change it again which seems to be no more possible

Since i update to IOS9 i can connect anymore to soundbar Model HW-H750. Please fix it.

It is not working in OI 8.02 (half of app stop working anyway).

The samsung wireless speakers are incredible. The multi room app is a huge failure on apple devices. It takes forever to load. If you exit out with the menu button then go back into the app it has to reload again. Another massive disappointment is that none of the outside music services work on the multi room wifi setting. They only work on the Bluetooth setting and only with one speaker at a time not all of the speakers you own.

Crashes as soon as it opens on my iPhone 5 iOS 7.1.1. Tried restarting the device and reinstalling the app - didnt help.

This is by far the worst app ever. Cannot sync any songs from my iTunes library. Please find a way to solved this issue.
